2011 Pacific Northwest Conference

Anchorage, AK Cityscape

Conference Dates:
March 31 - April 2, 2011

“Welcome to 2011 Pacific Northwest Conference homepage! This site will provide you with all of the details you should need to prepare for the conference and to plan a successful trip to Anchorage, Alaska. We are very excited to be the hosts of this year’s conference and are looking forward to April. This year we are very fortunate to be sharing our conference venue with a conference being hosted by the Alaska Society of Professional Engineers (ASPE) which will be drawing NSPE participants from all over the western US. Information about their technical sessions will be available soon.  This may be of particular interest to faculty advisors who will be offered a substantial discount for the conference.  We will be having at least one mixer event with this group.

Another item of interest will be our career fair. Be sure to bring a stack of resumes with you if you’re looking for career opportunities.  We expect a number of national, regional, and local firms to be represented at the fair.

Alaska’s weather is very unpredictable, please come prepared for rain, shine or snow (yes, snow in April). We recommend checking the weather multiple times as the conference nears and to bring shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty and that will keep you warm and dry. We know most of you will be traveling quite a distance to get here so we encourage you to hang out Sunday, check out Anchorage, and enjoy one of the activities we have suggested on the ‘Sunday Fun Day’ page! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me, see you in April!!”
